We are committed to the advancement of technology development, product testing, and product safety based on scientific evidence.  Scientific advancements can only result in the development of consensus standards, the dissemination of scientific data, and improved public communication and education through the efforts of committed individuals.  As part of our mission, Simbex devotes internal resources to participate in numerous voluntary organizations.

Simbex personnel also participate at the national level as grant reviewers for the National Institutes of Health and Veterans Administration.  Simbex President Richard Greenwald is a member of the Advisory Board for the National Center for Medical Rehabilitation Research at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development at the National Institutes of Health.

Advances in safety and injury prevention are often directly a result of scientific research and data analysis.  Simbex participates actively in the following national and international organizations related to standards development based on research data:
