Dr. Richard M. Greenwald is recognized for contributions to science and engineering by the State of Vermont
Lebanon, NH - August 25, 2006 - Richard M. Greenwald, PhD, Founder and President of Simbex LLC, a world-renowned research and development company in the field of active life improvement, was elected to full membership in the Vermont Academy of Science and Engineering (VASE) at the last meeting of the Membership Committee.
The Vermont Academy of Science and Engineering, which is modeled after the National Academies, was chartered by the State of Vermont to honor scientists and engineers for their achievements, to promote the interests of science and engineering within the State, to educate Vermont citizens about the importance of science and engineering, and to help the State of Vermont with regard to problems in science and engineering. This singular honor is the highest recognition for contributions to science and engineering in the State of Vermont, where Dr. Greenwald is a resident.
Dr. Greenwald will be inducted into the Academy at the Academy's Annual Dinner, on September 19, 2006, at the University of Vermont in Burlington. He will be introduced by Robert C. Dean, ScD, President of Synergy Innovations, Inc.
